Dear Debasis,
In my opinion, the figurine should be considered more as a decorative piece.
Frankly, there is nothing magical with the piece.
Personally, I have such a piece (as shown) attached. I personally liked it because, it was made in the early 1930's.
It is nice to look at because of his (buddha's) lovely smile and nice to see kids climbing (taking advantage) of him:)
As mentioned, we should treat these pieces as interior art pieces. But, if one have such pieces, it is best not to let them face into bedrooms, on the same wall as toilet etc...
