Thanks for your sketch.
From the look of it, it seems that your main door opens directly to the balcony. Can I confirm whether is there a straight path of `air' flowing from the main door directly out to the balcony? Or do you have a screen or partition.
If this is the case, it is more important to get a screen rather than to get a dragon.
Even if one wants to use a dragon figurine, it should be on a wall, facing out of the house e.g. thru an opening such as a window. It must not be allowed to faced a blank wall.
Yes, a dragon figurine can help improve on yang qi in the house but, caution about where to place it. It should preferably not also be placed inside a showcase or the show case be below knee height (low level).
