The front of our house is facing the east. The house is situated on a corner and is right beside an alley on the south side. On this south side we would like to build a 127' fence with two driveway gates (wrought iron sliding gates) about 80' apart. One gate, 12' long, will be located near the front of the house and will slide from east to west direction when opening (this is a given and we do not intend to change this). The other gate, 16' long, will be placed near the back of the house, and we have the option to make it slide either from east to west or from west to east direction when opening. From a feng shui perspective, which direction should this gate slide when
opening--east to west or west to east? Does it matter? By the way, the house number is 317 if that's a factor to consider. We will also put a small 3' wide gate on the front for people to enter, with the gate exactly in line with the front door.
Hoping for your helpful advice, thanks in advance.
