Dear Lin Hong,
Please see below:-
Purple `belongs' to the Fire element or South. The range of colours at the South range from Pink to Red and all shades of Purple.
I have prepared a colour chart for your benefit:-
It is more accurate to apply colours based on your Pillars of Destiny main element and its strength:-
Your Element
and its Suggested Avoid or
strength Bedroom colour Bad for U
============ =============== ========
Strong Wood White | Blue
Strong Fire Light blue, grey | Green
Strong Earth Light Green | Red
Strong Metal Pink, Light Purple| Yellow
Strong Water Yellow, brown | White
*Note: Do Not use Bright colours but light shades of `suggested colours'. Other than Strong Wood, if you are confused by all this, simply use White will do.
Your Element
and its Suggested Avoid or
strength Bedroom colour Bad for U
========== ============== ==========
Weak Wood Blue |White
Weak Fire Green |Black, Blue
Weak Earth Red, Pink, Purple|Green
Weak Metal Yellow |Red Pink Purple
Weak Water White |Yellow, Brown
Note: For a `Weak' element person, your colours are the reverse of a `Strong' element person.
Again, if you are " utterly " confused *Joke* by now, erh... why not forget about all these and go for White (Other than for Weak Water person).
My advise is that usually our house is small compared to a palace or even a mansion with e.g. a East Wing or West wing etc.. In such a case, the owners can `paint' the rooms in the entire wing to match the colour of the location e.g. East Wing, paint " green ".
But for the above, my advise is that if you know your main element and strength, you can take advantage of the above.
The reason why I recommended that for a person with `Strong' element to use `light' colours e.g. Strong Fire, use light blue instead of Bright or Dark Blue is because, if you do not have a Pillars of destiny report with reference to the 10 yearly Luck Eras which tells you whether for that particular period e.g. 1999 to 2004, this period belongs to say the Water element, since this particular season is Water, avoid using dark blue but light blue is ok to `balance' your Strong Fire element. Take for example if the season is Water and if you do not know this and if your room is dark blue, too much water can exhaust your Strong Fire element. This will weaken your Fire Element. What we must remember that what we only wanted was to neutralize the `Strong Fire' to be come a `neutral Fire' element.
If you have your Pillars of Destiny Report with the 10 Luck Eras, you can then fine tune the above and if say e.g. 1999 to 2004, and the report mentions that there is no effect of the season's element on yours, you can for a person with Strong Fire, use any shades of Blue to cool you down.
The characteristics of a `Strong' person is that if you do not `cool' down, this may result in a `burnt out' or intense competition or health related problems.
If you have a spouse, the above can still be applied. Simply analyse each person and then look at how much effect the above has on each other. If it is `extremely' good for one party but `extremely' bad for the other, then I suggest go for a neutral colour.
Sometimes you can use two colours if each does not affect the other's person's element. Not that I suggest that you paint half the room one colour and the other half another colour (is acceptable thou). But if your friends or even your family members visit you erh... please don't quote me:)
An alternative, is to the use of bedsheets meant to enhance the other party. Well this is one suggestion which will also work.
Hope the above helps.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
