I just purchased an ornately carved door (carved frame with two panel doors, also carved) at my local oriental antique shop. The door set is 83" high, 46' at the widest on the top frame, and 37" wide at the door area (including frame). It is quite heavy, and not easy to move, so I would like to place it well when it is delivered. One place I had thought it would look good would be directly opposite the entry way. The front doors are double doors, opening into a square area about 10' on a side, with an opening into the dining area on the left, and an opening into the living room on the right. Directly opposite the entry doors is the back wall of a hallway that runs the length of the house. Currently we have an oriental 3 panel screen that one sees upon entering the house. Would the placement of these decorative carved door panels encourage good energy flow, or would it be a horrible mistake? Thanks
