Translated Chinese Article written by Zheng Dan:-

" This Snake Year (2001) has Four Major Animal Sign / Earthly Branches
offends the Grand Duke (Tai Sui). "

This Snake Year sees many animal signs offending the Grand Duke due to the
Snake Year which is represented by its "si" Earthly Branch under the Pillars
of Destiny. They are the Pig/Boar, Tiger, Snake and Monkey animal signs.

There are three categories of Grand Duke:-

(i) Direct Conflict with Grand Duke (Zhi Tai Sui)

Snake is in Direct Conflict with Grand Duke, meaning that this year will
result in making rash and/or irrational decisions and/or actions. The
character "Zhi" represents harm / danger, with temper in such a way that
once you blow up there is no way to stop or correct your mistake.

Usually the Grand Duke is in motion. However, during the Direct Conflict
with Grand Duke the stars does not move much. Because of this it causes a
unnatural influence creating problems.

Besides the Snake animal sign that is in conflict, those whose surnames
bears Guo, Yang, Wu, Xu, Zheng are also in conflict, plus those who names
contains ya-something etc. (Please refer to the actual Chinese characters
for accuracy)

(ii) Clash with Grand Duke (Chong Tai Sui)

The most severe clash is the Pig/Boar. This is because the Year of the Snake
clash with Pig ("si" clash with hai"). This is because of the hidden stem
"geng" (Metal) in the "si" (Snake) destroys the "jia" (Wood) in the "hai"
(Pig/Boar), and "wu" (Earth) controls "ren" (Water), making "hai" (Pig/Boar)
lose its balance and fall down. This results in changes for the Pig, such as
moving house, migration, changing jobs and feeling nervous of changes.
Rather unlucky and likely to have lots of health problems, and traffic
accidents.

Pig/Boar is represented by "hai". Because of the Chinese characters on the
left of the word Pig/Boar (in chinese) looks similiar to the word "jia"
(Family), and the character "hai" is part of the right hand side of the
character "hai" (Children), thus it means that Family and Children also
clash with the Grand Duke.

Surnames such as Wu, Xie, Gua also clash Grand Duke, plus a few specific
names such as ya bao, ya cheng, ya shou etc (Please refer to the actual
Chinese characters for accuracy)

(iii) Punishment with Grand Duke (Xing Tai Sui)

Tiger Animal Sign is in Punishment with Grand Duke. while Monkey is in one
of the 6 join combination with Snake, therefore is not a serious Punishment
combination, but it must try to counter the Grand Duke to bring luck.
Punishment with Grand Duke means many obstructions, bringing gossips or
lawsuits related problems, therefore much prevent.

Surnames Hui, Zhang, He are also in punishment, plus names like ya guang, ya
dian, ya chao etc. (Please refer to the actual Chinese characters for
accuracy)

The method to cure / counter Grand Duke is to add a Grand Duke Tablet in
your Home's Ancestor / Worship Altar or simply worship to Grand Duke for
forgiveness.

" Worship Grand Duke on the 8 day of the Chinese Lunar New Year "
In this Snake Year:-

(i) Pig/Boar sign is in Clash with Grand Duke
(ii) Snake sign is in Direct Conflict with Grand Duke
(iii) Tiger and Monkey who is in Punishment with Grand Duke

Monkey who forms a 6 join combination with snake is the least serious of the
four animal signs.

Those born in 1935, 1950, 1959, 1968, 1977, 1986, 1995 are regarded as Grand
Duke Followers should avoid seeking the source of illness problems.

Those who offends grand duke need not worry. China has a culture / method to
cure Grand Duke offenders. Besides worshipping or praying to the Grand Duke
for forgiveness, you can reduce the problems by praying to the grand duke on
the 8 day of the Chinese Lunar New Year between morning 7 to 9 and from
afternoon 5 to 7.
