Dear Margarita,
There are four main considerations in your case:-
1. Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui:-
- Place your table against a solid wall. If this is not possible,
place it against a partition.
- Even if it is the centre of the house, there must be proper backing
`behind you' i.e. there should be
a solid wall at the back of your seat. It should not be `exposed'
area were people can walk around
or even a glass window.
- Yes, it is inauspicious to have the working desk face the kitchen.
Here, if you notice, the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui need to be
followed closesly.
2. Eight House Theory
Sit facing one of your good directions for work.
3. Flying Star Theory (Optional)
As the Flying Star divides a home/office into 9 sectors, it is good to
see whether the centre location is
auspicious or not. Currently, most houses built under Period 7 (1984
to the year 2003) the centre of the
house is usually the " Current Prosperity " location.
4. If your desk is right in the middle of the centre of the house, where
possible, leave the space around the
centre clear e.g. do not place a Personal Computer etc...
Frankly, this fourth point is based on my personal opinion after having
analysed many cases related to
Feng Shui problems. Therefore, for anyone reading this, I leave it to
you to decide for yourself whether you
want to follow the fourth advice or not. However, the centre of the
house is considered the Earth element.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

User's Comments Dear Sir, I will be getting my resales flat soon and would like to advise on the feng shui before moving in. I had check in your website and was very impressive of the services provided. Regards -- Thank you for your response Mr. Lee. I really wish you could be somewhere here near manila-philippines so i could have my unit checked. It is such a relief to get your opinion most specially when you mentioned that fengshui should not be so rigid. I also agree with you when you say that little lucky ornaments being promoted by some masters are for business intentions and non-sense. Best regards and more power to you and your team. |
