Free Module 2: Shapes & Form Feng Shui

Chapter 1: The Landscape

Picture of a scenic landscape

Many books written by Feng Shui  authors may tell a different story about the origins and the practice of Feng Shui. But the fact remains is that China has a large expanse of land, mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, the soil and many other features, undulations and landscapes.

It is thus not surprising for the  ancient Chinese to judiciously study their surroundings in the hope of building better palaces, temples, settlements, homes, burial tombs  and more.

The Chinese belief that there are three kinds of luck:

1. The luck that you make for yourself: Personal Luck (Ren Cai)

2. The luck that was bestowed upon you by heaven when you were born: Heaven's Luck (Tian Cai)

3. The luck that come to you from your environment: Earth Luck (Di Cai). Feng Shui is all about improving one's Earth Luck or Di Cai.

To Geomancy team and Masters.

Excellent site. The best for beginners and for more advanced "amateurs". Hopefully, I will continue learning from it, and eventually become a premium member.

Keep it up and prosper.... (I am learning that myself from my slow progress in I Ching and Fengshui).
